Volunteer Appreciation Lunch
April 22, 2009
The Centre's Kitchen will be closed on Wednesday, April 22 to allow the Board of Directors to host a Volunteer Appreciation Lunch.
Any member who has volunteered in any capacity this year or since our last volunteer lunch is invited but please let us know if you are coming.
Anyone planning to attend must be paid up members and sign up for the lunch by Wednesday, April 15 - so that we know how many to plan for. A lunch register will be available at the front desk. If your name is not there, please see the Director on Duty or Vivian.

Craft Group:
The Craft group is looking for donations of wool - any kind and any amount. This group raises money for the Centre by selling their creations. So root through your cupboards and see what wool you have tucked away and forgotten about. Of course, they won't turn down new wool if anybody wants to buy some and contribute that way. Drop your contributions off at the Front Desk.
VOLUNTEER DISHWASHERS
NEEDED IN THE KITCHEN
We could use a few more dishwashers to supplement the team of dedicated dishwashers we now have. No experience needed; training provided. The task is not difficult, but it's important to learn the proper way to use the sanitizer/dishwasher. The time commitment is from 11:15 am to about 1:30 pm.
You're in charge of how often you'd like to volunteer.
If you're interested or would like more information, please call Elizabeth McNeill (885-8845)
or Sharon Shorter (885--0822).
Thank you, Kitchen Committee
